Pumpwarden
Coming 2027

Start your fire pump from anywhere.

Pumpwarden Starter puts remote start, live status and alerts on the diesel fire pump you already rely on. It runs over mobile data and works from any phone. For properties where the pump is a long way from the house.

Designed in Australia. Pre-production: not yet on sale.

What it does

The pump starts when you need it, whether or not you are there.

Starter is the controller on the pump. It runs the start sequence itself and gives you a clear view of what the pump is doing.

Start and stop from your phone

Hold the button to start, tap to stop. The controller runs the whole sequence: fuel on, crank, check oil pressure, and retry if the engine does not catch.

See what the pump is doing

Running, stopped or faulted. Fuel, water level, battery, oil pressure and signal. A history of what happened and who pressed what.

Alerts when it matters

Notifications to your phone when the pump runs, trips, fails to start, or water, fuel or battery run low. If the pump goes quiet, we notice that too.

Share it with the right people

Give family, neighbours or your installer access. Owners manage, operators can start and stop, viewers can only look.

Still works on its own

The pump's own start button, emergency stop and remote contact all keep working. If you stop the plan, only the remote features switch off.

Your location stays yours

You place the pin, there is no GPS tracking. Owners and operators see the exact spot. Viewers see an area about two kilometres across.

How it works

Fitted once, then forgotten until you need it.

Fit

The controller is wired to the pump's start circuit, fuel solenoid and sensors in a clear-lid enclosure beside the pump. A competent installer or electrician does this.

Claim

Sign in on the web app and enter the code on the controller's label. It takes about a minute and the pump is yours.

Use

Open the app on any phone. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an ordinary app, with notifications.

Built for the paddock

Designed for poor signal, long gaps and the worst day of the year.

Most of the engineering is in what happens when something is not working.

  • Honest about signalThe app shows when the pump last reported, and opens from its last saved copy when your phone has no coverage.
  • Watches for silenceA dead pump sends nothing, so a separate watchdog alerts you when the controller has not reported for about two and a half hours.
  • Data stays in AustraliaPump data is stored in Sydney. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is it on sale?

Not yet. Pumpwarden is pre-production and units are planned for 2027. Join the waitlist and we will email you when that changes. Pricing is not announced. We will publish it, including the yearly plan that covers the mobile connection and the app, before anything is sold.

Does it need mobile coverage at the pump?

Yes. The controller connects over mobile data, so the pump needs coverage. A phone at the pump showing a signal is a reasonable first test. We will publish carrier and coverage details before launch.

What happens if I stop paying or the internet is down?

The pump keeps working from its own start button, emergency stop and remote contact. Only the remote features switch off: starting from your phone, status and alerts.

Can I rely on the notifications?

Treat them as a heads-up. Phones can silence notifications through Do Not Disturb, battery savers or a poor signal, and nothing here replaces checking your pump and your property. That is why the app also shows when the pump last reported, and why we alert you when it goes quiet.

Who can see where my pump is?

You place the pin yourself. Owners and operators you invite see the exact spot. Anyone you give view-only access sees an area about two kilometres across.

Is it certified or approved?

Not yet. It is a pre-production design. We will publish test results, certifications and a compatibility list before sale, and we will say plainly what it has not been tested with.

Where is my data kept?

In Sydney. See the privacy policy for what we collect and who handles it.
